Backstage Info
The British Songwriting Awards was launched with the UKSC and music industry professionals to showcase the new rising stars of songwriting that are discovered every year through the annual national and international UK Songwriting Contest. All songwriters may submit songs to the event and all are judged equally. This prestigious and highly regarded songwriting event attracts song submissions from all countries and from songwriters with all levels of experience - from beginner to seasoned professional. All the song entries and songwriters are judged equally and anyone can win an award. Song entries can be polished studio productions or simple basic demo recordings on a cell phone - all have an equal chance to win.
