2024 Overall Winner

Don't Walk Away by CHRIS BROOM is Overall Winner and also Love Songs Category winner of The UK Songwriting Contest and British Songwriting Awards 2024. Following this announcement in December 2024 the track was officially released in January 2025 with the popular UK singer Lucy Thomas and is available for streaming and download on all major platforms. The video below is from the UKSC and was made pre-release. The official music video, made to accompany the release on 17th January 2025 featuring Lucy Thomas performing the song, is available on YouTube.

Olympic Games Theme

The winner of the Olympic Games Theme Song for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games was Be Brave, Be Bold. This inspirational song was submitted to the UKSC by the songwriting team of Matt Glickstein, Karen Mitchell and James Kocian. The track was released with vocals by Clayton Jones and became popular after promotion from the UKSC with many plays on various platforms with almost 100,000 of these on the UKSC YouTube channel alone. The UKSC Olympic Theme Song category was held to tie in with the 2024 Paris Olympic Games and the UKSC created this video below to accompany the song's release. READ MORE HERE...

AC Award Winner

This creative song was written by a talented new songwriter named Benjamin Burke who submitted it to the UKSC judgung panels in 2024. The outstanding song is about, as the title suggests, "How To Write A Song", and the judges had no hesitation in awarding it the winning position in the Adult Contemporary (AC) Category of the 2024 UKSC event. Pop Song Award

The 2024 UKSC Pop Song Award winner is "Here" written by Mathan Sathy. Mathan is a talented pop songwriter based in Australia who is passionate about creating catchy, uplifting songs with relatable lyrics. He says "Pop music is my world, and my songs are designed for major pop artists, TV shows, films, and commercials. I have several songs in the pipeline that I’m excited to record and share. Best Christmas Song Award

Reindeer Rebellion won the Best Christmas Song Award for 2024. The song was written by the songwriting team of Ava Della Pietra, Shane Stevens and Nash Overstreet and it is performed in this music video by singer-songwriter and multi instrumentalist Ava Della Pietra. Ava, from New York, is beginning to make a name for herself in the USA and this is her first attempt to gain recognition in the UK.
